Blah.
So I haven't put much of my work up here. Mostly because I haven't liked it. Also because once I turned my prints in I wasn't sure where to get them after that to scan them in.
Photo Two proved just as frustrating as Photo One.
I rarely took joy in my work and often felt like I was just wasting my time, wasting class time, wasting the teacher's time. It was painful. I love photo, but I don't feel like I can take anything worth looking at. When I get C-41 film and take it on my own time and have Fred Meyer develop it, I love the pictures. But I don't seem to be able to develop it the way I want by myself or enlarge the prints the way I wish them to look.

Let's Funny?/ Let's weird.
I don't like this one as much as the other two... but there is a story behind it. A few of my friends and I have noticed that all of our houses have some crazy looking rooster in the kitchen as decoration. The one in my house is ceramic, in another's house it is copper, but either way: crazy rooster. So this picture is a bit more of an inside joke I guess. Though, depending on your humor maybe it is funny to you too.
My dog. My dad's hand. He had been helping me take a couple pictures (that I ended up not using because I liked this one better) and our dog kept getting in the way and placing herself right in front of the lense. My dad came over to attempt to move her but ended up playing with her a little bit and with my eyes still focused through the camera, I snapped a shot.
This is the picture I orginially intended as my main print for the project. And as it should be. Titled " Angry duck".

Tree. How original.
Frustrating. As usual. I just need to get back into the flow of photo. But so far, I have not much of anything worth showing off from my time in photo 2. This is my mosaic project; as other projects get returned to me I'll put them up as well. I took these series of photos of the tree in the school parking lot during class. Inspriation for remarkable work is completely lacking currently.

I'm not shy...
But I am uncertain. And some how, I find this make me an artist of sorts. I question everything I see and more- and this opens my eyes. I have a passion for photography and trying to get what I see with my eye onto a strip of film or piece of paper. When I see a striking photograph, generally the subject is not the reason I find it striking. It is the focus, the contrast, and how real the photo looks that makes it amazing. If I feel I can reach out and my touch two-dimensional work: I have succeeded.
